A console is the prize people ask for most, and it is the one where a low ticket price matters most — nobody wants to spend £30 chasing a £480 machine. Our PS5 runs price tickets at around 49p and put PSN gift cards into the instant-win pool so there is something to win on the way to the main draw.
Console competitions, without the wait
The main prize is drawn at the end of the run. The instant wins are not — PSN gift card prizes are settled against your ticket number as it is issued, so a run that takes a fortnight to sell still pays out on day one.
One of our runs put the choice to entrants directly: PlayStation 5 or Nintendo Switch 2, winner decides. That format works well for a console because the two audiences barely overlap, and we will run it again.
What you are actually entering
The competition page lists the exact model and specification of the console being given away, the total number of tickets, and every instant-win prize with its remaining quantity. Nothing about the prize is decided after you enter.
